All 4 of the rooms provide an excellent level of comfort, with exposed wooden beams and rich, stylish furniture. The restaurant still features the original beamed partitions and walls. Once a country pub providing simple food and drink for locals, the restaurant now offers superb food and great wines in cosy, traditional surroundings. Located midway between Ipswich and Norwich, the Auberge is a great base from which to visit and explore Cambridge, Newmarket, the Suffolk and Norfolk coasts and all of East Anglia. The nearby market town of Diss is just 4 miles (6.5 km) away.
