There has been a house on this site for generations but it was only in 1979 that this attractive family home was converted into a small hotel. Andrea and David Levene bought the hotel in 1986 and since then have made many additions, whilst maintaining its appeal as a stylish and elegant family run hotel to have as your base while staying in the south of England. The elegant, award - winning Truffles Restaurant (2 AA Rosette - 2008) really is a treat to dine in. It is an exquisite setting in relaxing surroundings offering excellent modern European cuisine and an extensive list of fine wines. Lighter meals can be enjoyed in Muffins Brasserie. Stroll around the grounds, look out for the many statues amongst the shrubs, look at the Temple Room at the end of the garden, sit on the Balloon Patio under the pergola, or just marvel at the selection of over 70 different Tiffany lamps, both inside and out.
