  This Victorian house is in large gardens and has easy access to Edinburgh's city centre by bus. It offers free Wi - Fi, free parking, large rooms and fresh, home - cooked, traditional Scottish breakfasts. Alba House has a quiet location less than 2 miles (3.2 km) from Edinburgh Waverley rail Station. A number of local buses run regularly from the stop outside the guest house. The house was built in about 1860 and the large rooms mix original features with modern comforts. The individually decorated en suite rooms have central heating, TVs, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks, coffee tables, armchairs and tea/coffee. Alba House is family run and prides itself on offering a traditional warm Scottish welcome and a friendly, relaxing atmosphere.
